Manifest your intentions through the Law of Attraction!

in Health & Wellness, Spirituality on 01/03/18

“The Law of Attraction states whatever you focus on, think about, read about, and talk about intensely, you’re going to attract more of into your life.” – Jack Canfield

Anything you truly desire can manifest through the law of attraction.  The universe listens to your thoughts and energy and will work in a way for you to receive whatever it is you focus on. These are the key principles in the law of attraction; our part is to remember like attracts like, what you think you attract. We want to be careful to curate our thoughts in a way that reflects desires and not negative thinking. Of course, we all have moments of worries, it’s a human reaction but the goal is to keep working on our mindset to switch our point of view to focus on our true intentions.

In keeping the law of attraction in mind, I have been making a list of intentions/goals every year for the past several years. The list is full of realistic and reach goals; I think it is important to be grounded in my daily intentions but to also dream big even if I don’t know exactly how it will unfold today. It is great to have these intentions written down somewhere (for me it is a page in my planner) because it allows me to remind myself of my intentions, tweak them, take action on them by seeing them periodically, and more importantly planting them into my subconscious for manifestation.

Beyond written lists, the process goes as follows for me – be clear with your intention, then place trust and faith it will come true while you are doing your part in it (this is the key…you do not need to know how, but just that it will, so keep the thoughts positive), and this is how we can manifest it. You cannot ask the universe and then doubt it, try to intervene, and force an intention to happen. The believing is often the hardest part for me, I try to continue practicing this by switching my negative thoughts into a positive one (i.e instead of saying I hope I do not bomb my interview today, I say I am going to do great in that interview).

I once heard a good example demonstrating this – when you plant a seed, you don’t go back every day and ask when it will sprout or worry if it will sprout.  You water it, ensure it gets adequate sunshine and trust that it will sprout into exactly what its meant to be. You allow the process to unfold.  It is the same with one’s intentions, plant the seed today, nurture and work towards them whichever way you can, but trust they will come true. There will be hard work, patience required and challenges to overcome, but the first step is to set the intention and not waiver from your true desires, so the universe can begin to conspire in your favor.

Happy New Year!
