WELCOME

Hi there, I am so glad we are connecting on my page. I am passionate about sharing Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness. I grew up in an environment where yoga and spiritual living were present from a very young age in India and moved to America at the age of 10. However, I more routinely re-connected with my own yoga practice as a young adult. My daily yoga practice began as an outlet from my corporate job to release stress and live more in the present moment. Overtime I began to deeply connect with the healing and contentment that could be accessed with a true yoga practice. After which there was no looking back, I jumped in and completed a 500-hour yoga alliance certified teacher training at ISHTA (NY) that included components, such as pranayama, meditation, and ayurveda. I left my corporate job to start teaching Yoga and Wellness. I love teaching and sharing Yoga in order to help bring more physical, mental, energetic, and spiritual balance into each part of my student’s life. I believe yoga should be customized to the environment, needs, and body of the person experiencing it. I use a combination of my training, skills, intuition, and experience to be fully present while I serve others through this powerful and inspiring practice.

Hope you are staying warm if you are in the northeast, and 'enjoyed' the snow. I personally always preferred warmer weather. But nothing like kids to make you enjoy and fully engage in the activities and fun of all seasons. We loved the snow, stayed cozy at home with hot chocolate, but also played in the snow and went sledding. With the current atmosphere, these moments we carve out for ourselves with our loved ones keep us feeling connected and grateful. In a sense this time has forced me to realize and adhere to the fact that I don't need to be as active or as invovled as I once thought socially. I have become pickier about how I share my time and what I do with it. I kind of love it that way. I hope you also do the same for yourself, fill the time we do have with people, places, and activities that fill up our soul. Hope to see you on the mat for some Yoga. Enjoy your weekend ahead.
